Ballyconnigar Hill
The lookout post No. 12 was once built on the highest point, Ballyconnigar Hill. Today, nothing remains of the building. It has sunk into the sea, while the sandy hill has been washed away over the last few decades. The Wexford coast between Cahore and Curracloe suffers from severe erosion caused by storms from the sea. The accompanying EIRE sign is also no longer to be found today.
