Howth Head
The lookout post No. 6 was located on the green at Summit Car Park near Howth. This post was mainly used to monitor the northern part of Dublin Bay. Today, nothing remains of this lookout post. Locals recall that the post was last used as a kiosk in the car park. Half a mile northeast on the Cliff Walk is the EIRE sign, which was restored in 2022.
At the former site of the Lookout Post above the lawn near the Summit car park, the concrete remains lie a few centimetres below the lawn. Over time, more concrete remains appeared under the embankment to the side of the lawn.
