Wicklow Head
Near the town of Wicklow lookout post No. 9 is located between lighthouses dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. Today, the building is used for maritime radio services and is not open to the public. The associated EIRE sign is no longer visible today. The position of the ground marking can now be determined using historical photographs.
An image simulation shows the former position in front of the 18th-century lighthouse.
