Brandon Point The Lookout post No. 40 is located near Brandon Point, just a few minutes' walk from the car park. From here, the coast watchers could observe the mouth of Brandon Bay. Local coast watchers from Brandon and the surrounding area monitored the coast in three shifts of eight hours each per day. Their logbooks can now be viewed on the Irish Defence Forces website militaryarchives.ie.
The implementation of this light projection is based on fragments of graffiti elements that were found on the building and have been graphically rearranged.
