Kerry Head The lookout post no.42 was located on the headland close to Tiduff Glenderry. Today nothing remains to the lookout post except some concrete fragments that was built in a stone wall. Local farmer remaining the lookout post and the former position. The original place of the former lookout post was situated on a field next to Tiduff.
A photo shows the coast watchers of the time in front of the building. Their reports were recorded in logbooks. These logbooks are now publicly available and can be viewed on the Irish Defence Forces website militaryarchives.ie.
