LOP 67 Aughris Head

Aughris Head   To observe the western part of Sligo Bay, observation post No. 67 was erected on the Aughris headland. The building was located directly on the coast in a field. From here, the coast watchers reported all activities in the area and recorded them in logbooks. The reports are now publicly available on the Irish Armed Forces websit militaryarchives.ie.
The idea behind this light projection was to wrap the building like a parcel in paper. A heavy luggage sticker with the estimated weight of the building was also integrated into the light design.
