LOP 80 Malin Head

Malin Head  The lookout post No. 80 is located at the northernmost point of Ireland, close to a Napoleonic signal tower. Today, the area is also home to one of the most important weather stations. The corresponding Eire sign is located next to the post. From here, coast watchers observed the northernmost section of the Irish coast. Their logbooks can now be viewed on the website militaryarchives.ie.
The light projection at this lookout post is based on the colours of the Irish flag, which were converted into a 3D pattern and then finally adapted to the building.
