Glengad Head The Lookout post No. 73 is located on a hill close to Glentoskert. Today, the lookout tower is painted white and the massive concrete chimney still stands on the roof.
The light projection at this location was created in honour of singer-songwriter Shane MacGowan. His hand-drawn sketches and handwritten lyrics from the poem ‘Donegal Express’ were adapted to the building. This poem was published in the book ‘A drink with Shane MacGowan’.
